Trash collection

Regular trash collection is every Thursday morning. Place both trash cans at the curb the evening before (Wednesday) and bring them back out of sight the same day.

No collection on these holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Holiday weeks: if a holiday falls on a weekday (Monday to Thursday), collection that week moves one day later — so Thursday pickup becomes Friday. Holidays on a weekend do not change the schedule.

Hurricane resources

Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. A little preparation before a named storm makes a big difference.

Storm kit: drinking water and non-perishable food for several days, medications, flashlights and batteries, a battery or hand-crank radio, phone chargers, cash, and copies of important papers in a waterproof bag.

Your home: know where your shutters or panels are stored and how to put them up. Clear the lanai and yard of furniture, plants and decorations before a storm arrives — anything left outside can become a projectile.

Stay informed: sign up for Lee County emergency alerts and follow the National Hurricane Center for the official forecast. If Lee County orders an evacuation for our zone, leave early and follow the posted routes.

After the storm: wait for the official all-clear before returning, watch for downed power lines, and photograph any damage before you start cleaning up.

Parking & guests

Calusa Palms has four overflow parking lots. Overnight parking (midnight to 6:00 a.m.) is first come, first served.

Register your vehicle with the management company before using an overflow lot. Registration does not guarantee a spot will be available.

Each owner may keep only one (1) car in an overflow lot, for no more than fifteen (15) days per calendar month.

Unregistered vehicles, or vehicles kept longer than the 15-day limit, may be towed at the owner's expense.

Clubhouse & pool

The clubhouse and pool are the heart of Calusa Palms — the place for community events, card games, exercise and meeting your neighbors.

The pool and pool deck are for residents and their guests. Please follow the posted rules, shower before entering the water, and supervise children at all times.

Residents may reserve the clubhouse for a private party or gathering. Fill out the reservation form and submit it to the management company — they will confirm availability and the current rental terms, including any deposit and cleaning requirements.

Please leave the clubhouse as you found it: furniture back in place, kitchen clean, and trash removed.
